Turnagain Flats, Kinkade

We decided to go hiking Monday evening. There was a beautiful sun set in progress. My friend Jarred had shown me a little known trail in Kinkade park . I knew the view would be spectacular, so that's where Monika and I headed. These pictures are taken looking over the mud flats that jut far up into the mountains to the east of Anchorage. This area is called Turnagain Arm.
