Byers Lake Cabin #2

Our first serious trip of the year began with a two hour search for the above cabin.  We were just about to give up when we almost ran into it!  Hard to find, but love the tucked away location!

The sun coming through the bark made Pete stop and call me back for a picture.

Beautiful sunshine!

Eating dessert at the cabin.  I should have taken a picture of the steak and green beans that we had for dinner but I was too busy eating them.

Sunset outside the cabin window.

Enjoying a piping hot cup of Earl Grey Tea.

Pete, kicking back in front of the toasty wood stove.

Breakfast the next morning.  Pancakes

And corn beef hash.  Yum!

 He agreed.

Crisp morning temps.

We packed out mid-morning, carried all of the gear down the hill so that Pete could use the sled for more important things.

Like sledding, of course!

On our way across the lake.  Pete's ingenious Pulk contraption.

My trusty skis.
