The second half of Kristy's trip found her and I driving down to Seward for a couple days.

We had booked a sight seeing tour out to Kenai Fjords National Park.
We woke up bright and early, layered for warmth and dryness, armed ourselves with coffee and prepared to be amazed.
And we were! The humpbacks put on quite a show for us! From sleeping humpy to mom and baby playing we were entertained by them for most of the 9 hour tour.
The outermost destination was the Northwestern Glacier. Quite impressive.
And here's me, holding a baby iceberg.
Brrrrr..........
Warming up!
Ginger Lemon tea. So good!
Back at camp, chex mix dessert. We crashed in our tent and then, the next morning drove back to Anchorage to keep Pete company for Independence Day.
The morning that Kristy was flying out she made the most amazing donuts I have ever had! Thanks to my Better Homes and Garden Cookbook! We enjoyed them with coffee in hand.
Mmmmmmmm....Delicious.
And then she had to go. I could go on and on about what an amazing time we had. It was such a blessing-full time of chatting, catching up, laughing, crying, talking about feelings, everything...............
Miss her like crazy.
:-)
Love my sisters <3
