The road is only open to visitor vehicles for 15 miles into Denali National Park. So of course we had to go as far as they would let us! We drove back to Savage river where we were told there was a nice short hike.
Pink Plumes.
It was an overcast day and we didn't get to see THE mountain, but it was definitely worth it for the river and flower pictures I was able to get!
