Dad and Pete's Kenai Fjord Tour

So, as I'm sure most of you are aware, my sister, Kristy, is here visiting from Michigan.  I'm sure that you are waiting anxiously for a blog documenting her amazingness, our reunited sister-istry, and other random silliness.....That is if you haven't already been bombarded with all of the above in your Facebook feed, which, judging from the number of notifications on her Facebook wall has already happened.

However......................

Before a post like that can happen, this post MUST happen.

Enjoy!

Pete and Dad were booked for a Kenai Fjord Tour during our stay in Seward.  Nine hour tour, over 150 miles traveled, breakfast and lunch included.

They woke up bright and early and were shuttled to the boat armed with binoculars and my camera.  Note that our new SLR is water proof, shock proof, and freeze proof.  Thus enabling me to be much more generous with sharing it.

Dad, posing in front of the Northwestern Glacier.

A trusty vessel.

And on the way back to the womenfolk they stopped in to view the days catch.  Yummy halibut.
